USS Arizona BB 39 was a Pennsylvania Class battleship built in 1910.  On the Day of Infamy, 7 DEC 1941, she was moored with other US Navy battleships on Battleship Row in Pearl Harbor, HI. During the Japanese air attack, she took numerous hits from torpedo bombers. One torpedo hit a magazine, causing a massive explosion and the sinking of the ARIZONA with 1,177 souls on board.  She now serves as a memorial and final resting place for all lost on board.
