USS Enterprise CV-6 was the most decorated ship in the US Navy during World War II. She participated in more battles than any other ship. In this dramatic portrayal by artist Mark Karvon, the "Big E," as she was affectionately known, is shown in convoy formation having just launched several of her aircraft. The ship's bell is preserved at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
